SAREP supports enabling policies and regulations, develops and test regulatory and business models and helps build institutional and individual capacity to accelerate a clean and just energy transition, while helping countries achieve sustainable climate goals.
SAREP activities are designed to address policy, regulatory and fiscal constraints in wind, solar and other emerging technologies to meet the 2030 national target of 500 GW of non-fossil installations. Technical assistance is being provided to address policy challenges, project structuring and procurement models to bring in further innovation and efficiency, enabling new technologies.
