SAREP is working with National Power Training Institute (the apex training institute of the Ministry of Power, Government of India), Power Sector Skill Council, and Power Finance Corporation for building the capacity of employees and human resources needed by the transmission and distribution utilities including smart-metering, data analytics, cyber security AI/ML and blockchain technologies. SAREP activities will strengthen existing and design new training modules and train the trainer programs in areas related to clean energy deployment, utility modernization, sustainable hydropower development, power trading & markets, and related areas in the South Asia region.
