The Indian power market has evolved over the last 15 years with the implementation of various mechanisms, including two power exchanges (PXs).

Participation by neighboring countries on Indian PXs and other evolving products will have various benefits, including resource optimization, competitive pricing, and transparent procurement.

SAREP is enabling market participation of regional stakeholders in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka through targeted knowledge-sharing workshops, providing hands-on training to market participants, developing market models and white papers.
