Stakeholder Consultation on EV Financing
USAID SAREP organized a stakeholder consultation titled `EV Financing – Opportunities and Challenges’on August 22, 2022 in New Delhi. The event was conducted in partnership with NITI Aayog and chaired by Mr. Sudhendu Sinha, Advisor (Transport), NITI Aayog, Government of India. The industry, comprising of OEMs, aggregators and financiers, expressed keen interest in EV financing and sector expansion during the discussion. The workshop was part of SAREP’s collaboration with NITI Aayog to provide technical assistance conceptualizing a line of credit to support EV expansion.
