USAID, through its South Asia Regional Energy Partnership (SAREP) Program, in association with Invest India, has created an investment mobilization platform. Under this, an event titled ‘E-Mobility Investment Mobilization Platform: Report Launch and Investor Discussions’ was held on March 15, 2023 in Mumbai wherein investors and investees came together for discussion and match-making. The event was held in hybrid mode.
Mobilizing private investment is an important focus area for SAREP. The program focuses on accelerating the clean energy transition, enhancing private sector participation and facilitating clean energy financing, among others.
Through its investment mobilization platform, SAREP is facilitating discussions and enabling flow of investments in the e-mobility space in India. The event also included the launch of the report ‘E-mobility Investment Landscape Report for the Indian Market’, that was prepared after consultations with around 65 entities in the e-mobility space.
Apart from the report launch, the event included a panel discussion, and one-to-one match-making sessions between 27 investors and 24 investee companies. A total of 150+ such conversations were facilitated by SAREP.
