NTPC, India’s largest thermal power generator, has committed to develop 60 GW of RE by 2032 and a 10% reduction in its energy intensity and has formed NTPC-Renewable Energy Ltd to implement these clean energy targets.

SAREP is supporting NTPC-REL to develop valuation and business models for different equity-raise options for financing and engaging in discussions with potential investors.

Likewise, SAREP is also engaging with the Indian Railways (IR), which has committed to decarbonizing operations by 2030 and deploy 30 GW of solar power. SAREP is supporting IR in least-cost procurement of renewable energy and deployment of green capacity.
