Grantees selected from SPF Round 2

SAREP invited the second call for applications. The latest round of Request for Applications (RFAs) under the USAID SAREP Partnership Fund (SPF) was open till December 15, 2022. This is the second of the six rounds of RFAs planned during the five-year duration of the SAREP project.

The USAID SPF will support market-based transformative solutions to enable the clean energy transition in South Asia, particularly by engaging the private sector, local organizations, and new and underutilized partners. It will also harness innovative business models, solutions, technologies, resources, experiences, and networks of relationships that exist across stakeholders. Through this RFA, USAID SPF invites applications to fund qualified organizations for supporting activities and programs consistent with USAID SAREP’s objective of improving access to affordable, secure, reliable, and sustainable energy, and its four objectives.

This RFA focuses on activities specific to all six SAREP countries – Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Through this RFA, USAID SPF is inviting applications to fund qualified organizations for supporting activities and programs consistent with SAREP’s purpose of improving access to affordable, secure, reliable, and sustainable energy, and its four objectives.

To provide detailed information about the RFA, including eligibility, projects considered, process to apply, etc., USAID SAREP held an online information dissemination event on October 31, 2022.
