SAREP Partnership Fund (SPF) Round 3 – Information Dissemination Event

SAREP opened the third call of Request for Applications (RFAs) under the USAID’s SAREP Partnership Fund (SPF) on July 7, 2023. The last date to submit applications was August 8, 2023. This is the third of the six rounds of RFAs planned during the five-years (2021 – 2026) duration of the SAREP project.

The USAID’s SPF supports market-based transformative solutions to enable the clean energy transition in South Asia, particularly by engaging the private sector, local organizations, and new and underutilized partners. It also harnesses innovative business models, solutions, technologies, resources, experiences, and networks of relationships that exist across stakeholders. Through this RFA, we invited applications to fund qualified organizations for supporting activities and programs consistent with SAREP’s objective of improving access to affordable, secure, reliable, and sustainable energy, and its four objectives.

This was focused on activities specific to all six SAREP countries – Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Through this RFA, USAID’s SPF invited applications to fund qualified organizations for supporting activities and programs consistent with SAREP’s purpose of improving access to affordable, secure, reliable, and sustainable energy, and its four objectives.

To provide detailed information about the RFA, including eligibility, projects considered, process to apply, etc., SAREP held an online information dissemination event on July 12, 2023. The session recording is given below (application is now closed):
