Investment Facilitation Platform (IFP)

South Asia’s low-carbon energy goals and increasing demand call for a significant increase in energy sector investments. The region represents a huge opportunity for energy transition investments by 2030. Given the high growth potential, global investors have shown keen interest in the market. However, due to the depth and complexity of the region, these investors often shy away from investments due to several barriers, including macro, sectoral, and firm‐level constraints. Addressing these barriers is crucial to unlocking the full potential of South Asia’s energy market.

Join USAID SAREP’s Investment Facilitation Platform

USAID SAREP’s Investment Facilitation Platform (IFP) is a virtual deal hub tailored to connect enterprises and investors in the clean energy sector across SAREP focus countries. The platform serves as a vital link, enabling enterprises seeking capital and investors eager to deploy funds to discover curated investment opportunities. By facilitating direct engagements between these investors and investees the IFP aims to nurture a dynamic and self-sustaining investment ecosystem within the region. tThe platform aims to facilitate transactions not only within the SAREP focus countries but also beyond, extending its impact and reach to the Global South.
