US$20M fundraise for a Nepalese e-vehicle charging network developer

Traction: The company has set-up 2 of Nepal’s largest charging stations and aims to become Nepal’s largest privately-funded charging network, supporting transition to sustainable transportation and setting a new standard for highway travel

Management Overview: The management team has been integral to the E-Mobility sector in Nepal since the Group’s inception nearly 10 years ago. In addition to the founder-promoters on the board, the company is guided by a seasoned senior management team of three members, ensuring strong leadership and governance

USE OF FUNDS

Construction of 50 EV stations, over a period of 5 years, across Nepal equipped with amenities such as restaurants, cafes, malls, and restrooms

POTENTIAL IMPACT

The company enhances Nepal’s electric vehicle ecosystem by developing charging infrastructure. In the last 8 months, the company has sold around 480 Mega-watt of electricity averaging around 60 MW per month which has offset around 405 tons CO2 in the same period. The fundraise would enable E-Stop to reduce 110K tons of CO2 over the next five years
