A two-days capacity building workshop was organized for the Sri Lanka Government on “Renewable Energy Integration and Procurement” on March 18 and 19 in Colombo. Organized jointly by USAID’s SAREP and SLEP programs, this workshop garnered immense participation, with over 50 officials from various sectors of the Sri Lanka Government. Throughout the two days, attendees, including representatives from the Public Utilities Commission, Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority, Power Sector Reforms Secretariat, DISCOMs, Financial Institutions, and Private Sector, delved deep into crucial topics shaping the renewable energy landscape.
